William Thomas Watson, IV, 61, of Mechanicsburg, PA passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at UPMC West Shore.

Born on March 17, 1960 in Harrisburg, PA, he was the son of William Thomas Watson, III and Janet Mae (Evans) Watson. Tom is survived by his wife of 22 years, Tatyana Watson, his daughter, Alina Watson, his sister, Dara Jacobs, and his loving friends and family.

Tom served as a devoted tank commander for the U.S. Army and was a life member of the U.S. Army Brotherhood Of Tankers (USABOT). He later became a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Mechanicsburg, where he met many of his lifelong friends. He was a member of the American Legion and loved to spend time traveling with his family. He cheered on his favorite team, the Pittsburgh Penguins, throughout his life and always looked forward to watching hockey with his family. He devoted his life to serving others and cared greatly about animals, especially his gecko, Gena, and dog, Lucy. Tom was most proud of his daughter’s achievements and looked forward to seeing her become a doctor. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
