On Monday, December 21, 2020, William “Bill” Rineer passed away at the age of 83.
Bill was born on January 2, 1937 in Lancaster, PA. He served in the Army during the Vietnam war, and worked for Cope Plumbing & Heating until his retirement. On April 18, 1964, he married his wife of 56 years, Helen. They raised two children, Robbin and Mark.
Bill was a long-time resident of Paradise and New Providence, PA before he and his wife moved to Mechanicsburg, PA to live with their daughter in 2015. In 2019, he became a resident of ManorCare Health Services in Carlisle. Bill was a hard worker, who enjoyed fishing, playing cards and Yahtzee, collecting model trucks, and being a lovable stinker to his family.
He is remembered with love by his wife, Helen, two children, Robbin (Paul) and Mark (Tammy), six grandchildren, Amber, Brandi, Jason, Bryanna, Jess, and Brandon, and nine great-grandchildren.
All services will be private, and burial will be handled at the convenience of the family in Riverside Cemetery, Lancaster, PA. Myers-Harner Funeral & Cremation Services, Camp Hill, has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
