Obituary for William H. DeTemple
William H. DeTemple, 66, of Camp Hill, PA, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2020 at UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg Hospital.
Born on June 26, 1954 in Germany, he was the son of the late William P. and Ingeborg M. (Büchl) DeTemple.
Bill was a graduate of Cedar Cliff High School. He went on to attend college at Albright College in Reading, PA. Before his retirement Bill was the manager at a Gulf convenience and gas store. He enjoyed golfing and visits to the Tobacco Company in Lemoyne for good conversation and a good cigar.
Bill is survived by his brother, Michael A. DeTemple and his wife Maria, of New Cumberland, PA; a sister, JoAnn S. Magaro and her husband Samuel J., of Oberlin, PA; a sister-in-law, Kathleen DeTemple, of Bigler, PA; four nieces, Crystal, Elizabeth, and Marikaye and Samantha; a nephew, Michael; and numerous great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, David L. DeTemple.
Funeral services will be private and handled at the convenience of his family.
