Wilda Mae (Bolich) Kramer, 91, of Camp Hill, PA was freed from the withered body and scrambled mind caused by Alzheimer’s disease on May 21st, 2021. Her husband of 57 years, Kervin, was by her side.
Born on her family’s dairy farm in Butler Township, near Ashland, she was the daughter of Clair and Martha (Tielman) Bolich. Wilda left the family farm shortly after high school to find work in the “big city” of Harrisburg. She started as a telephone operator for the Bell Telephone Company, rising to the position of switchboard supervisor. Later Wilda was retired from Gannett Fleming Engineers where she was the communications coordinator. In addition to her husband she is survived by her sons David (Janet), and Jeffrey (Amy); three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her first son Craig. Aside from being a wife, mother, and homemaker, Wilda’s greatest joy in life was working in her flower gardens. We will not look upon a beautiful rose, a large-bloomed dahlia, or an exotic, tropical canna lily without being reminded of her.
In keeping with Wilda’s wishes, there will be a private commital service at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church, 44 West Main Street, Shiremanstown, PA 17011 or to the Wilda Kramer Tribute Page at ALZ.org.
We are comforted knowing that Wilda Kramer knows who and where she is once again.
