Obituary for Thomas D. Gray

Thomas D. Gray, 82, of Camp Hill, passed away on Thursday June 18, 2020 at his home in Camp Hill.
Born on May 12, 1938 in Harrisburg, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas K. and Anna (Schwartz) Gray, and he was the widower of Donna (Hepsmith) Gray.
Tom was a graduate of New Cumberland High School. He went on to receive his bachelor’s degree and master’s in guidance counseling from Shippensburg University. He served in the Army National Guard from 1961-1967. Tom was retired from the Camp Hill School District where he was a teacher for 41 years. He loved to hunt and fish with the Gray Hunting Club at his cabin in Potter County. He was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church in Steelton.
Tom is survived by his two sons, Kent Gray, of Dillsburg, Sean Gray and his wife Paige, of Centre Hall; a daughter, Dana Rine and her husband Larry, of Annville; a sister, Mary Justh, of Jefferson, MD; five grandchildren, Dana Gray, Merissa Gray, Amanda Rine, Kendall Gray, and Phinnean Gray; and one great granddaughter, Alexis King.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Hall.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday June 22, 2020 in the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, PA, with Rev. Dr. Darrel Justh officiating. A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will be held following the service in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
