Obituary for Susan Guldner (Underwood)
Susan Underwood Guldner of Camp Hill entered into God's eternal rest at sunrise on August 31, 2023.
Born on March 15, 1940, in Harrisburg, PA she was the daughter of the late William G. and Cecile F. Underwood.
Susan graduated from West Shore High School and the Harrisburg Institute of Medical Arts. For over 50 years she worked as a Medical Assistant and was an accomplished church organist for 60 years. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Marysville.
Susan loved music, her cherished dogs, reading, and visiting Perry County. She and her late husband James were supporters of the Fredricksen Library.
Susan is preceded in death this past May by her husband of 43 years James Guldner. She is survived by her brother, William C. Underwood of Summerville, SC, two nephews, Brian C. Underwood of Rye, NH and Mark W. Underwood of Naples, FL. In addition, she is survived by two grand nieces, two grand nephews, four stepchildren and seven step grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Fredricksen Library. 100 N. 19th Street, Camp Hill.
A graveside service will be held at Rolling Green Cemetery, 1811 Carlisle Rd, Camp Hill, PA 17011, at 10:00 am on Friday, September 29, 2023.
