Obituary for Richard Lee Bream

Richard Lee Bream, 88, passed away peacefully at home with children by his side on Sunday, February 14, 2021.

Born November 2, 1932 in Carlisle, PA, he is the son of the late Roland E. and Marjorie J (Snyder) Bream.

Richard graduated from Camp Hill High School in the class of 1951, and was drafted in the US Army to serve in the Korean War from 1953 to 1954. Afterwards, he went on to work as for Aycock Construction as an ironworker for the Local 404 in Harrisburg. Ever the craftsman and creative, Richard’s interests included woodworking, working with his hands, gardening, and spending time with his wife of 56 years, Mary Jane (Rickenbach) Bream.

Richard is survived by a daughter, Lois (Bream) Hoy, and her husband Jerome, of Camp Hill; a son, Michael Bream, and his wife Stephanie, of Media; five grandchildren; and a sister, Marjorie Ann Wolfer, of Camp Hill.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Mary Jane (Rickenbach) Bream. Richard was also preceded by a beloved grandson, Kurtis A. Hoy.

All services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Myers-Baker Funeral & Cremation Services, Camp Hill, has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
