Obituary for Nickolas Caden "Nick" Pritchard

Nickolas Caden Pritchard, 14, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at his home in Harrisburg, PA, with his family by his side.

Born on November 9, 2007, in Hershey, PA, he is the son of Bryan D. and Samantha E. (Helm) Pritchard.

Nick attended St. Catherine Labouré School and Central Dauphin School District, both in Harrisburg.
Nick’s favorite thing to do was spend time with his family. He was known for his big smile that was always present when he was surround by his parents, brothers, sister, and friends. He enjoyed fishing, playing baseball, soccer, and basketball.

In addition to his parents, Nick is survived by his three brothers; Gavin Morton, of Weedsport, NY, Gavin S. Pritchard, of Newville, PA; and Ryan N. Pritchard, of Harrisburg, PA, his sister, Mia E. Pritchard, of Harrisburg, PA, Paternal Grandparents; Bert Pritchard, of Fishkill, NY, and Nancy Maddox and her husband Fred, of Elizabethville, PA, Maternal Grandparents; Scott Helm and his wife Gail, of Lebanon, PA, and Elizabeth Nice, of Bechtelsville, PA. He was also loved by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at St. Catherine Labouré Catholic Church, 4000 Derry St., Harrisburg, PA, with Neil S. Sullivan as Celebrant. A viewing will be held in the church Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the mass. Interment will be held following the mass in Resurrection Cemetery, Harrisburg, PA. Myers-Baker Funeral & Cremation Services, Camp Hill, has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.

Nick’s family would like to thank the Swatara Volunteer Fire Company for their love and support in assisting us to raise funds for Nick’s care, the Swatara Police Department for their support and for making Nick an honorary police officer, and all the motorcyclist who showed their support in the Ride for Nick motorcycle tour and fundraiser. We would also like to thank the doctors and nurses who helped care for Nick, and a special thank you to all our family, friends, and community for their love and support.
