Obituary for Mary Jacqueline "Jackie" Huryn (Bealer)
Mary “Jackie” Jacqueline Huryn, 95, of Brookdale Grandon Farms, Mechanicsburg, and formerly of Camp Hill, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022, at Vibra Life, Mechanicsburg.
Born on September 3, 1926, in Bethlehem, PA, she was the daughter of Harvey and Carrie (Umstead) Bealer, and she was the widow of Frank T. Huryn.
Jackie was a graduate of Nazareth High School. She was a retired Executive Secretary with Bethlehem Steel. Jackie was a member of the Chapel Hill United Church of Christ and a former member at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, both in Camp Hill. She loved to play cards with her friends and go bowling.
Jackie is survived by her two sons, Theodore F. Huryn and his partner Robert Koch, of Harrisburg, and Thomas F. Huryn and his wife Lisa, of Enola; four grandchildren, Seth, Justin, Matthew, and Nicole; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Francis, Wallace, and George Bealer, and two sisters, Shirley Urban and Elizabeth Toth.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 5, 2021, in the Myers-Baker Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, PA. A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 P.M. until the time of the service. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 7th in Rolling Green Cemetery, 1811 Carlisle Rd., Camp Hill.
