Obituary for Manfred "Fred" Fojutowski
Manfred “Fred” Fojutowski, 64, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021, at UPMC West Shore Hospital, Mechanicsburg.
Born on August 10, 1957, in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Helga Therese (Zink) Walker.
Fred was a graduate of Mechanicsburg High School and a Veteran of the US Airforce. He was a retired dock worker with Halls Trucking in Mechanicsburg. Fred was known for having a heart of gold. He spent most of his time caring for his sister and late Mother who passed away in April.
Fred is survived by a brother, Peter H. Fojutowski and his girlfriend Kelly, of Landisburg, a sister, Ilonka C. Weaver, of Mechanicsburg, two nephews, Scott and Gary Weaver, both of Mechanicsburg, and a niece, Ashley N. Fojutowski, of Lewisberry.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Brian Weaver.
A graveside service with military honors, to be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, is currently being scheduled. The service date and time will be posted on the funeral home’s website when confirmed.
