Obituary for Magdalene A. Ochs

Magdalene A. Ochs, 85, of Camp Hill, PA, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2020 at ManorCare Health Services, Carlisle, PA.
Born on March 8, 1935 in Adrian, PA, she was the daughter of the late Andy and Rose (Yankuski) Kobak, and she was the widow of E. Leonard Ochs, Jr, who passed away in 1996.
Magdalene was a dedicated homemaker and a gifted seamstress. She would attend doll conventions to offer her custom-made doll clothing creations. She loved to bake and make candy. Around Christmas time everyone would look forward to her nut rolls, cookies, and candy. Magdalene was proud of her catholic faith and she attended the Church of the Good Shepherd in Camp Hill.
She is survived by two sons, Edwin L. Ochs, III, and his wife Doddy, of Camp Hill, PA; William A. Ochs and his wife Stephanie of Edinburgh, Scotland; a sister, RoseMarie Colish and her husband Rich, of New Stanton, PA; three grandsons, Cameron, Corbin, and Carson Ochs, all of Camp Hill; two step granddaughters, Clare and Samantha Wilton of Edinburgh, Scotland and a nephew, Jeff Matty, of New Stanton, PA.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be private, and burial will be handled at the convenience of the family. Her family would prefer not to receive flowers but rather that you remember Magdalene in your thoughts and prayers. Myers-Harner Funeral & Cremation Services, Camp Hill, has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
