Obituary for Lulamae K. Lotz (Knarr)

Lulamae K. Lotz age 86 of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away peacefully November 14th, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Treverton, PA and raised in Harrisburg. She graduated from John Harris High School and worked as a waitress early in life. She was a secretary at LB Smith and retired from Energy Products.
Lulamae loved life and was loved by all who were fortunate to know her. She gave tirelessly of herself and her time to lift others up along her way. She loved and was devoted to her family and enjoyed the all the wonderful times spent together. She loved to talk and would talk to everyone, and I mean everyone. Gardening, knitting, cooking, were passions she loved! Her unwavering faith and love of God was evident throughout her life. Because of her generous and fun filled spirit, a lifetime of memories were created, and will be cherished forever.
She is the daughter of the late John R. and Dorothy Delbaugh Knarr. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Bob of 56 years, and her son Robert Lotz Jr. She was also preceded by her brother Robert “Eddie” Knarr and his wife Joyce, and sister Doris Spink and her husband Ross, and a brother-in-law, Charles Fisher.
She is survived by her daughter Lynn Shick and “son”-in-law Glenn of Mechanicsburg, “sister”-in-law Dorothy Fisher of Elizabethtown, daughter-in-law Shelly Lotz of Enola, grandchildren Tim and Ashleigh Lotz of Brooklyn NY, Jordan and Martha Shick of Pottstown, Marc Lotz, Heather Lotz, and Andrew Perez of Enola, and Dana Shick of Mechanicsburg. She was blessed by and loved her 3 great grandchildren Landon, Aviyana, Amiyah. Lulamae will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Lulamae was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, a church she was devoted to and loved. She loved serving her God. She was a member of the M &M’s (Mature Methodists) at Aldersgate.
A special thank you to Artis Senior Living of West Shore Memory Care for their loving and compassionate care the past 2 years. Also, thank you to Homeland Hospice and Rosa’s Team.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Aldersgate United Methodist, Alzheimer’s Association, or the charity of your choice. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM. On Saturday, November 20th at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 1480 Jerusalem Rd, Mechanicsburg, PA. Burial will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 4855 Londonderry Rd, Harrisburg, PA. Myers-Baker Funeral & Cremation Services, Camp Hill, will be handling funeral arrangements.
