Obituary for Lois Y. Beatty (Young)
Lois Y. Beatty, 90, of Round Rock, TX passed away April 7, 2020 at Bel Air at Teravista.
Born January 6, 1930 in Cleveland, OH she is the daughter of the late David H. and Evelyn A. (Wentz) Young.
Lois was married to her husband Charles E. Beatty for 37 years until his death in 1987.
Lois loved her family, “mall walking” with her friends, making Key Lime pies and chocolate-covered Easter eggs and Jim Brickman and his music.
Lois is survived by her daughter Barbara B. Patterson, and husband Ken, of Georgetown, TX; daughter Carol S. Beatty, and husband Tom Witte, of Tulsa, OK, grandchildren, David Patterson, of Houston, TX, Lisa (Andrew) Stratton, of Katy, TX, Mark (Sopheap) Witte, of Washington, DC and Susan Witte of Tulsa, OK, great-children, Theo Stratton and Iris Stratton of Katy, TX.
In addition to her parents and husband, Lois was preceded in death by brothers David Young and Robert Young.
A Memorial Service is being planned for this summer. Dates and times will be made available once plans are finalized.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Lois’ memory to the Alzheimer’s Association (https://www.alz.org).
