Obituary for Kathryn L. Chambers

Kathryn L. Chambers, 70, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at her home.
Born on June 8, 1952, in Lykens, PA, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Leonor (Laudenslager) Lebo.

Kathryn was a graduate of Palmyra High School. She went on to attend Robert Morris University. Kathryn was a Retired Human Resources Manager, who worked in financial services. She was a member of Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church, Dillsburg. She was a former church choir member and a former Sunday school teacher at the church. Kathryn enjoyed going for walks and hiking.

Kathryn is survived by her husband of 49 years, Samuel S. Chambers, Jr., of Mechanicsburg, a son, Samuel J. Chambers, of Boonsboro, MD, a sister, Linda Moffett, and her husband Ed, of New Cumberland, a brother, James Lebo and his wife Kate, of Oregon, and three grandchildren, Tyler “Ty”, Mikayla “Kayla”, and Matthew “Matt” Chambers, all of Summerville, SC.

A celebration of Kathryn’s life will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Friday, January 13, 2023, in Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church, 450 Chestnut Grove Rd., Dillsburg, PA, 17019, with Pastor Tim Klein officiating. A visitation with Kathryn’s family will be held in the church on Friday from 10:30 A.M. until the time of the service. A reception will be held in the church immediately following the service. Interment was handled at the convenience of the family in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill. Myers-Baker Funeral & Cremation Services, Camp Hill, has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church.
