Dear Lynn, Dick, and Dan,
I hope you and your families are remembering the happy times with your mother (and Dad). Undoubtedly, her last years of illness must have been very difficult for all of you, especially Lynn near by.
Sometimes it's not easy to be among the last of the friends "still standing" but it does bring joy to think of the Holmes' friendship and parties -- Kae's special treats and Joe doing his part in and out of the kitchen. Also, I'm thinking of Kae traveling with Ben and me to New Hampshire as well as a fun day trip to the "home" of her favorite Byers Choice figurines (a Christmas must).
Our daughters, Marcia and Louise, certainly appreciated her as their Home Ec teacher... and her fashion shows were important!
I was very saddened to learn (in the obituary) of the death of one of your sons.
Wishing you many , healthy good years

Fond memories of this beautiful woman. Her "beautiful" personality shone through her teaching. Remember her patience and guiding presence when she taught me at CHHS-a "cream of the crop" teacher. Lifelong friend of my parents. Loved her smile, her sense of humor. My deepest condolences to all the family.

Mrs Holmes taught me so many useful things that I have taken advantage of throughout my life! I was fortunate to have her as a teacher.
