Obituary for Joyce S. Dromgold (Shenk)
Joyce S. Dromgold, 81, of Camp Hill, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Kadima Rehabilitation and Nursing at Palmyra, PA. Born on August 6, 1940 she was the daughter of the late Ray J. and Madaline (Stoner) Shenk.
She attended William Penn High School and graduated with the class of 1958.
She and her family were active members of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Camp Hill, and Joyce sang in their choir for many years. Joyce was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and was a former Worthy Matron of Astro Chapter 380.
Joyce was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Larry E. Dromgold; and two sisters: Doris Jean Brubaker and Marianne Meredith.
She is survived by her son, David Clark Dromgold, of Camp Hill, PA; a niece, Beth Bianchi and her husband Anthony, of Mechanicsburg, PA; and two nephews: Roy Brubaker of New Jersey, and Steele Brubaker of Ohio.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2000 Chestnut St, Camp Hill, PA, 17011. A viewing will be held in the church from 10:30 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will be held privately at Blain Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.
