Obituary for Janet Fetterolf (Blakesley)
Janet R. Fetterolf, 68, of Lewisberry, PA, passed away at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, on Friday, May 27, 2022. Born on September 20, 1953, in Taylorville, IL, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Bernice (Smith) Blakesley.
Janet was a Registered Nurse for most of her life, most recently working as a Registered Nurse Supervisor in nursing homes and care facilities. She was a woman with an enormous heart, which could be seen in the way she cared for not only her patients, but for her husband, Michael Fetterolf, as well before he passed in early 2020 from cancer. Janet deeply cared for her friends and family, including her son Shane and her three grandchildren. She also enjoyed collecting glass knickknacks and appreciating the flowers the world around her had to offer.
Janet is survived by her son, Shane Fetterolf; three grandchildren: Gracie Sue Fetterolf, Daisy Ann Fetterolf, and Rylee Harlee Fetterolf; two brothers: Stuart Blakesley and Michael Blakesley; and one sister, Beverly Blakesley.
