Obituary for Grace E. Wallace (Rupert)

Grace E. Wallace, 93, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021, at Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle, PA.
Born on August 25, 1927, in Northumberland, PA, she was the daughter of the late Seymour D. and Jesse (Mincemoyer) Rupert, and the widow of John F. Wallace, Sr.
Grace was a graduate of Muncy High School. She was a retired school secretary. Over the years she also worked for the Columbus Naval Depot and was a secretary for Stew Derrick Reality. Grace was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in New Cumberland. She enjoyed traveling with her friends in the Good Sam’s Club and volunteering at the Mechanicsburg Library.
Grace is survived by her son, Jeffrey Wallace, and his wife Ann, of Middletown, CT; her daughter-in-law, Betsy S. Wallace, of Camp Hill, PA; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband John, she was preceded in death by a son, John “Jack: Wallace, Jr. and an infant son, Gregory Wallace, a grandson, Stephen, and a brother, Ernest Rupert.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 31, 2021, in the Muncy Cemetery, 204 E. Penn St., Muncy, PA 17756. Myers-Baker Funeral & Cremation Services, Camp Hill, has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
