Obituary for Florence S. "Shirley" Snider (Frost)
Florence Shirley Snider, 91, of Camp Hill, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 1, 2020. Shirley was born on August 22, 1928, in Chicago, IL., to the late George and Florence Daly Frost. Shirley was an active member of the Camp Hill Presbyterian Church. During her working years, Shirley was employed as an Office Clerk at United Insurance Co of America. She also worked as a store clerk for many years at Boscov’s in Camp Hill.
Shirley was married to the late Harry P. Snider for over 66 years. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Snider and wife Diane; her two daughters, Karen Sallavanti and companion Mark Carley, and Patricia Snider and husband Darin Cox. Four grandchildren Sarah, Kathryn, Jordan and Erika. She is predeceased by her brothers Jack and George Frost and her great-granddaughter Genevieve.
A private grave side service is being planned by the family. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Bethesda Mission, USO or Camp Hill Presbyterian Church.
