Obituary for Fleurette Violet "Teenie" Hartley (Langham)

Fleurette “Teenie” Violet (Langham) Hartley, 94, passed away peacefully February 15, 2020.

Born June 22, 1925 in Glenridge, NJ she was the daughter of the late John Kyle and Isabelle (Feger) Langham of Philadelphia, PA

Fleurette graduated from West Philadelphia High School. She also attended Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. After her time in school, Fleurette went to work for Rumsey Electric Company in Philadelphia, PA where she was an Executive Secretary. After she retired from Rumsey Electric, she moved to Harrisburg, Pa.to live closer to her sister and her family. She has been a Harrisburg resident since 1993. She loved books and loved to read. She enjoyed opera and Classical music. She loved to read about American history. She enjoyed going to Wildwood New Jersey in the summer and trips to Pittman and Cherry Hill New Jersey. Her favorite baseball team was the Phillies and she enjoyed going to the ballpark. She loved her family, her Country and above all she loved God.

Fleurette is survived by her nephew Laurence Ellsperman and wife Rose, of Dillsburg, PA; nephew Kenneth Ellsperman and his wife Sharon of New Bloomfield, PA; her niece Eileen Vogt of Harrisburg, PA. Several Grand-Nieces also survived her, Christy Wenger of Martinsburg, WV, Angelique McCain of Tuxedo Park N.Y. and Verena Reigel of Gardners, PA., two Grand-Nephews, David Ellsperman, Dillsburg, PA, and Nehemiah Ellsperman, Denver, CO, two Great Grand Nieces also survive her Paige Wenger and Ellie Wenger of Martinsburg, W.V.

In addition to her parents, Fleurette was preceded in death by her sister Isabelle Ellsperman of Harrisburg, PA, and her brother Laurence Langham of Mary Del, MD.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 in the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market Street, Camp Hill. A time of visitation will be held Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial at Paxtang Cemetery will follow the service.
