Obituary for Evelyn Mae Hower

Evelyn Mae Hower, 84, of Camp Hill, PA, passed on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at her home.
Born on March 21, 1936 in Harrisburg, PA, she is the daughter of James Paul and Ida Mae (Thomas) Harry.
Evelyn was a 1954 graduate of Camp Hill High School. She went on to attend Susquehanna University. She was a member of Shepherdstown United Methodist Church in Mechanicsburg, PA, and was employed with Blue Cross of Pennsylvania from 1954-1957. Evelyn was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Fred Calvin Hower, of Camp Hill, PA; a son, Daniel Hower, of Gaithersburg, MD; a daughter, Shelly Baker, of Columbus, OH; three grandchildren, Elise Myers, of Dayton, OH, Elizabeth Peluso, of Clarksburg, MD, and Christopher Hower, of Gaithersburg, MD; and one great granddaughter, Caroline Peluso, of Clarksburg, MD.
All funeral services will be private, and burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill, PA. A public memorial service to celebrate Evelyn’s life will be held at a later date. Service information will be posted when arrangements have been completed.
