In addition to raising six children, Jean enjoyed attending church, bible studies, playing bridge and rummy, working on jigsaw puzzles, reading, and spending time at the Brigantine NJ and Ocean City MD beaches. Jean enjoyed playing golf alongside her husband at The Country Club of Harrisburg. Jean scored a hole in one on two separate occasions. One of Jean’s favorite past times was to remind her family of these achievements.

Jean was a deacon at the Camp Hill Presbyterian Church and served locally and on mission trips; often supporting the process of providing meals for the many participants. Well into her 70s, Jean was a faithful servant of Meals on Wheels, delivering food to those in need.

Jean will be remembered for her unfailing devotion to her family and is survived by a legion of loving family members, including her six children Edward (Lori) Battisfore, Craig (Kris) Battisfore, Carolyn (Joe) Rice, Donna Jean Battisfore, Linda (Dave) Corrigan and Christine (Mac) Hall, fifteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, four nieces and two nephews.
