Doris L. Cave Obituary
Doris L. “Sue” (Anthony) Cave, age 91, of 21 Anthony Drive, East Pennsboro Twp., went to be with our heavenly Father on Sunday, July 16. Her son, John, was by her side.
She was a 1950 graduate of Enola High School.
Sue retired as a claims processor from the 65-Special Dept. at PA Blue Shield where she worked for 23 years. Upon retirement, she was employed as a cafeteria worker at East Pennsboro Middle and High Schools for 20 years.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffrey in 1959 and Timothy in 1961; a daughter, Bonnie L. Graham in 1996; her husband, David L. Cave, Sr. in 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents, John W. Anthony, Sr. (1967), and Mabel I. Anthony (1987); three brothers, John W. Anthony, Jr. (1976), Richard H. Anthony (2016) and Donald W. Anthony (2019); and a great-grandson, Abram W. Neiswender (2009).
She is survived by two sons, David L. Cave, Jr. and his wife, Teri, of East Pennsboro Twp., and their children, Stefan and his fiancé Danielle and their daughter Aspen and Shannon and her partner Mark; John A. Cave and his wife, Elaine, of Hegins, their children Adam and his wife Booyeon and their son Ethan and Regina Neiswender and her husband Andrew and their children Benjamin and Madelyn; a grandson Jeffrey Graham and his wife Jaimie and their children Makayla, Ryleigh, James and Brittany, and a granddaughter Rachel Alfano and her husband Roger and their son Nicholas.
She loved her family and friends and enjoyed playing pinochle and Uno, and going to the casinos and the Marysville Diner.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 21, from Myers-Baker Funeral Home, 1903 Market Street, Camp Hill. Visitation will begin at noon.
