Obituary for Beth Anne Shriver
Beth Anne Shriver, 64, of Hummelstown, PA, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022, at Hershey Medical Center, after a lengthy illness.
Born on December 4, 1957, in Harrisburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas B. and Theresa B. (Blockus) Shriver.
Beth attended Good Shepherd Elementary School. She graduated from Cumberland Valley High School in 1975 and went on to attend York College. She was a retired Administrator with the US Postal Service Headquarters, Washington, D.C.
Beth is survived by three sisters, Mary Shriver, of Mechanicsburg, Anne Shriver, of Harrisburg, Molly Busler, of Mechanicsburg; two nieces, Amanda Busler, of Mechanicsburg, and Rachel Busler, of Chicago; Her dear friend Marie Kenny and her daughters Katie and Delia. As well as extended family of Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas J. Shriver, and Joseph B. Shriver.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday July 8, 2022, in the Myers-Baker Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, PA, with Reverend Neil S. Sullivan as Celebrant. A visitation will be held in the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment will be held immediately following the service in Resurrection Cemetery, Harrisburg, PA.
Beth’s family would like to express their gratitude to Vinny Riello and Tia Maskel and the doctors, nurses, and staff at Hershey Medical Center who provided care and support throughout her long illness. Especially those that assisted her during her most recent hospitalization.
