Obituary for Anthony J. "Tony" Puglisse
Anthony “Tony” J. Puglisse, 72, of Mechanicsburg, PA passed away February 20, 2020 at Messiah Lifeways surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born October 11, 1947 in Harrisburg, PA, Tony was the son of the late Frank Michael and Elizabeth (Esak) Puglisse.
After High School, Tony joined the Army National Guard and served during the Vietnam Conflict. Tony went on to work for a Printing Company where he was a printer. He was a Member of the Chapel Hill United Church of Christ. He enjoyed spending time with his family, camping and his street rod. Most of all he enjoyed helping people.
Tony is survived by his wife of 35 years Nancy L. (Keener) Puglisse, of Mechanicsburg, PA; his daughter Heather Puglisse, of MA; his brother Michael F. Puglisse and wife Linda, of Harrisburg, PA; his niece Michelle Fox and husband Mike; nephew Frank Puglisse; and many cousins.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, with the Rev. Larry Hale and Rev. Tom Kiepert officiating. A visitation will be held in the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg, PA.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Tony’s honor to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478 Oklahoma City, OK 73123
