Obituary for Adrienne "Nicki" Hocker Nailor (Harle)

Adrienne “Nicki” Harle Hocker Nailor, of Mechanicsburg PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle, PA.

Born on April 3, 1926, in Harrisburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Frickman, and she was the widow of Jacob S. Nailor.

Nicki was a 1944 graduate of Camp Hill High School. She was a Bell Telephone employee and was retired from the Naval Support Activity in Mechanicsburg, PA. She had also worked and volunteered for Cumberland Crossings Retirement Community in Carlisle and Country Meadows Retirement Community, Mechanicsburg. Nicki was a longtime member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Camp Hill, PA. She attended since 1943 and was a member since 1946. She was a member of the Women of Trinity at the church. Nicki was an Auxiliary Member of the VFW Post 6704 since 1961.

She is survived by three sons, Craig E. Hocker and his wife Karen, of Biglerville, PA; Jerry L. Nailor and his wife Donna, of Naples, Fl; and Stephen L. Nailor, of Mechanicsburg; a daughter, Peggy Brechbiel, of Camp Hill; two brothers, Bob Harle and Fred Harle and his wife Margie; a sister, Winnie Jilek and her husband Bern; four grandchildren, Amber King and her husband Mike, of Philadelphia, PA; Kelly Hocker, of Hanover, PA; Will Hicks and his wife Heidi, of Camp Hill; and Margaret Davies and her husband Christopher, of Wales, UK; four great grandchildren, Claire, Caroline, Cayla, Liam and Lowri; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband Jacob, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl H. Hocker, a sister Virginia Harter and a daughter-in-law, Ruth Nailor.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 18, 2022, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2000 Chestnut St., Camp Hill, with Pastor John Brock officiating. A visitation will be held in the church on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will be handled at the convenience of the family in Warrington Friends Meeting House Cemetery, in Wellsville, PA. Myers-Baker Funeral & Cremation Services, Camp Hill, has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
